Job Description

An Auto Electrician is responsible for repairing and maintaining the electrical systems of vehicles. This includes diagnosing and repairing faults in the electrical system, as well as installing and troubleshooting new components. The Auto Electrician will work with advanced diagnostic equipment and specialized electrical instruments to ensure that all electrical systems are functioning properly.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Repairing or replacing faulty wiring
  • Testing and repairing starters, generators, and distributors
  • Rebuilding electrical units, such as door controls
  • Installing and troubleshooting immobilizer and alarm systems
  • Diagnosing and repairing engine management systems
