Job Description

As a Teller / Cashier at Moneygram in Kingston, you will be responsible for handling customer transactions, managing cash, operating a point-of-sale system, and providing excellent customer service. You will work in a fast-paced environment and be expected to maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency in your work. You will also be required to follow company policies and procedures, as well as comply with all relevant laws and regulations.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Processing customer transactions, including cashing checks, sending and receiving money transfers, and handling bill payments
  • Managing cash, including counting and balancing cash drawers, and processing change requests
  • Operating a point-of-sale system to process transactions and manage customer information
  • Providing excellent customer service, including answering customer questions, resolving customer complaints, and promoting Moneygram services
