Practical or Geriatric Nurse experience, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills
The housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the nursing home, including patient rooms, common areas, and staff areas. This will involve dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces, as well as doing laundry and restocking supplies. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a healthcare setting and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
- Doing laundry and ironing for patients and staff
- Restocking supplies and linens
- Maintaining the organization and cleanliness of staff areas
- Working collaboratively with other staff members to ensure a clean and safe environment for patients and staff
