Job Description

The Driver - Articulated Trailer is responsible for loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe and timely manner. The successful candidate will adhere to all company Standard Operating Procedures and Policies, report all issues throughout the course of duties, and maintain a safe driving record.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Operating articulated trailers to transport goods to clients or businesses
  • Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles
  • Accepting payments for delivered items and handing over to the office immediately
  • Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules
  • Maintaining vehicle functional condition by inspecting and testing vehicles, completing preventive maintenance, and addressing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions

The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license, ability to operate articulated trailers, knowledge of transportation laws and regulations, and basic mechanical skills.
