Job Description

The Supervisory Houseparent will be responsible for providing care and support to visually impaired children at The Salvation Army School for the Blind. This includes supervising daily activities, assisting with meals and personal care, and providing emotional support and guidance. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, strong supervisory skills, and a passion for working with visually impaired individuals.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising daily activities and ensuring the safety and well-being of the children
  • Assisting with meals and personal care
  • Providing emotional support and guidance to the children
  • Collaborating with teachers and other staff members to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Maintaining a clean and safe living environment
