Teaching & Education jobs in Clarendon

Education work in Jamaica

Schools across all 14 parishes hire throughout the year, with the biggest push before each school term. This category covers primary and secondary teachers, early childhood practitioners, special education teachers, lecturers, tutors, teaching assistants, guidance counsellors, school bursars and librarians.

Openings come from public and private schools, early childhood institutions, colleges, universities, homework centres and private tutoring services. Rural parishes such as St. Elizabeth, Clarendon, St. Thomas and St. Mary often have hard-to-fill teaching posts, especially in Maths and Science.
